Definitely one of the top places for Chinese in Nairobi. Food was great and had a large portion size.
Service was a bit slow though.
If you want better service try going for an early lunch/dinner when it’s less busy
The Pork Belly was exquisite. Very tender and succulent. There are a lot of options to choose from and the atmosphere is good. My only gripe is the lack of more intimate seating for a date night. But all in all, great food and experience.
This is definitely not a fine dining restaurant. Rather a noisy, wedding eating hall, on a busy Saturday night, where the staff could not cope. It's quite irritating to have 4 to 5 different members of staff bringing food to your table through the evening, and even then they can't cope. The wings did not have any taste of basil as advertised on the menu. And tough as old boots. The spring rolls came next, no sauces to accompany them till after we finished them. Then came the salad, then the warm towels. The sizzling garlic beef was horrible, rubbery beef, as was the sizzling veg which was not nice at all. Needless to say, I shall not return to this restaurant, which is a pity, because Nairobi desperately needs an AUTHENTIC chinese restaurant. The access to the restaurant is awful, via the basement of an unfinished building, and up in a lift which takes ages. A really disappointing evening out!!
